Will and Inventory of John Mulford, yeoman, 1569

Mulford left everything to his wife as executor except items of stock to his three sons. He left some debts and a modestly equipped house and farm equipment, with grain in the barn but not in the field. No sheep but ‘milk kine’, also 30 cheeses, implying his farm was on the better grazing ground in the north of the parish. He left wood and wood working tools, also yards of new cloth. Value £21 9s. 7d.
