Will of John Aylwyn, Gent, 1654

Aylwyn owned considerable land in Basingstoke and Bentworth including arable and woodland which he left to his wife and children. He refers to other property which had been lost or damaged through recent fires and other means, presumably referring to the Civil War. The religious preamble suggests that Aylwyn was of Puritan sympathies. No inventory survives.
