Will and Inventory of James Kine/Kinge, husbandman, 1602

King lived at Holt, a detached part of Nately Scures parish. He left money for the poor of Upton Grey and Nately Scures as well as to family, friends and servants. He had considerable crops in the field and barn as well as cattle and large numbers of sheep and lambs. Green cheeses are listed in the kitchen. His inventory amounted to £81 but he owed £20.
