Hall of Water End made bequests including a single sheep to the parish church for the maintenance of a lamp to burn before the sacrament as well as 4s. to purchase a pair of candlesticks. Unusually for this parish, he possessed large numbers of sheep and lambs. He also left wheat to be distributed amongst the poor of Nately Scures.
