Will of Oliver Wither, gentleman, 1648

Wither was a wealthy gentleman with interests in Hampshire and Bedfordshire. He apparently had no children but left bequests amounting to more than £500 to his nieces and nephews, to be paid out of the rents and profits of his lands, as the children came of age. He left bequests to the poor of Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, but also to the poor of Farleigh Wallop and Cliddesden.
