1891 Census

Part of the civil and ecclesiastical parish of Nately Scures commencing at Water End then to Manor Farm then to the Rectory and the cottages near, then to the cottages on the north side of Scures Hill, then all the cottages on Hook Common, Heather Row, Newnham and London Road in Scures parish.
This census saw a further drop in population to 175, as detached parts had merged into the surrounding parishes. There were still three farms with their associated labourers and the same family continued to hire out their thrashing machine. Three carpenters listed may suggest that building work was being undertaken but there were only two blacksmiths listed and one engine fitter.
