Will of Nathaniel Phipps, 1630

Phipps died young leaving bequest to his parents, grandmother and other family members amounting to £62. He left two bibles and other books, a sword and belt and commissioned a funeral sermon and gave 20s. to the poor of the parish. He was clearly a wealthy man who had interests beyond the immediate locality of Farleigh.
