Will of Robert Wallop, 1535

Robert Wallop’s will shows his Catholic faith and also his interest in farming with mention of a new farm and farmhouse, an orchard with a saffron garden and large flocks of sheep – 100 ewes given to Farleigh church and 50 ewes to the church at Cliddesden.
