Will and inventory of Robert Bawle, 1583

Bawle had a mixed inventory of animals, crops, a gun, sword and two spinning wheels.  He leaves his implements and tools used in the ‘office of cooking’ to his son, plus his gun and half of the corn and grain and some livestock. His daughters Jaine and Grace also get some livestock, the residue being left to his wife Margery
