Will of William Prince 1544

Prince not only supported the church of Cliddesden with a bequest of 6s. 8d. but also gave a sheep to each of the parish churches of Farleigh Wallop, Basingstoke and Winslade. His gifts of sheep to his six sons and daughters totalled about 150 and show him to have been a substantial farmer.
