Will and inventory of Thomas Leacocke, gentleman, 1635

Leacocke described himself as a gentleman in his will and he possessed a corslet, sword, pike and a map. He left bequests of £100 each to his two sons but the estate was only valued at £52. He was involved with farming and possibly the boys were quite young and the bequests might be saved up out of the estate before each of them reached 21 years of age and inherited. He possessed a bible and a service book.
