Will of William Hearne, dyer, 1634

Hearne was a Puritan in religion as he wished to be one of the elect reflecting Puritan belief in predestination. Hearne was a wealthy man who left bequests of over £280 but unfortunately the will does not give any information about his occupation of dyer. Among other property he owned a house and orchard in Northbrook Street, Basingstoke.
