The whole of the parish of Ellisfield including Bury Down, Ellisfield Common, a cottage in High Wood, Northgate Farm, Coopers Farm and cottages and Ellisfield village.
The population for this period has fallen again to 245. Three farms totalling 1,078 acres employ 24 men and nine boys, but a total of 68 men and 4 women are engaged in agricultural work. There is also a blacksmith and carpenter/wheelwright. 18 women are employed in domestic activities although one widow is listed as being a wood dealer; six women are receiving alms. There are two inns, The Fox and the Bell & Crown.
