Will and inventory of Richard Wodrofe/Woodrofe, yeoman, 1641

Woodruff’s will is interesting in that his provision for the poor indicates the commercial nature of the woollen industry in the parish as poor spinners came to his house for work. He had 94 sheep and some wool stored in the house.
