SC 11/222 Undated burgage rent roll for Cheltenham – c1440?

This piece is in an identical hand to SC 11/223, and specific entries in the ‘then and now’ remarks at the end exactly match those in SC 11/223. Presumably not an accident that they are catalogued sequentially.  It seems likely, given the scattering of church/chantry properties throughout the list, and other repeated names, that the order corresponds to the physical order of the burgages (though whether north or south of the Street is unclear). References to custodes rarely specify the institution. Compare SC 11/225, which runs in the opposite direction, and (from the changes in this from male tenant to presumed widow) is evidently slightly earlier.
