Minehead Port Administration

Until the 1950s the harbour belonged to the Luttrells. The keeper of the Were, as the harbour was then known, was recorded in 1483. The harbourmaster’s office is on the quay and from the 1950s was run by Minehead Urban District and later West Somerset District Council.
