Will of Henry Egger, yeoman of Up Nately, 1692

Egger was one of a small group of wealthy Quakers living in Mapledurwell and Up Nately. He asked to be buried in his friends’ (called Quakers) burial place in Alton. He possessed land in the common fields of Up Nately and closes in Up Nately and Nately Scures. His inventory was valued at almost £200.
