Watchet station and former goods shed

The former goods shed is now a boat museum. The railway has always used the same platform for both up and down trains. The car park in the foreground occupies the site of the extensive sidings that this formerly busty station required. Tracks were terraced to compensate for the considerable slope from the running line down to the harbour, behind the camera.
