Will and inventory of Christopher Sex/Sext, Up Nately, yeoman, 1598

Sex held 30 a. of land in the common fields of Up Nately growing mainly wheat but also oats, barley, dredge and vetches. He possessed 50 loads of timber valued at £12.5 and four loads of lathes valued at £2 which suggest a trade in wood or wooden products. His executrix was his wife, Bridgett, who appears to have remarried very shortly after his death.
