St Peter's Voluntary-aided Primary School, Whetstone

Whetstone lies five miles south of Leicester. From the 16th century, the manor was held by Trinity College, Cambridge. By the early ninetenth century, Whetstone had become an industrial village, whose inhabitants were chiefly employed in the framework knitting industry.
