Will of Edward Mooring 1673

Edward Mooring, rector of Cliddesden and Farleigh Wallop 1636 to 1673

Edward Mooring’s long incumbency was interrupted for the five years of the interregnum; his will makes no mention of his ejection and restoration, tumultuous events. Mooring left £320 to the poor people of Cliddesden for purchasing land or property at £16 a year, ‘yearly forever’.
