Inventory of William Blunden, yeoman, 1602

Blunden, a yeoman, was a bailiff in Basingstoke in 1601-2. Edith Blunden his widow, was assessed on land at £1 in 1603. His inventory included 40 quarters of malt, reflecting the increasing importance of the brewing industry in Basingstoke.
