Will and inventory of Richard Hall, junior, yeoman, 1601

Hall was a yeoman of a long-established and a major family with several early 17th century branches. Richard had been taxed on land in 1586  and his inventory shows that he both maintained his landed interest and was active in the cloth industry.  The family remained important clothiers in the 17th century.
