Inventory of John Hulet, parson (rector of Newnham and Mapledurwell), 1589

Hulet was the rector of Newnham with Mapledurwell. This inventory is particularly valuable in that the debts included ‘Roger Smith owes for the tithe of 8 score sheep’ which was the biggest flock identified in the parish in the 16th century and is discussed in Mapledurwell.
