Will of John Sumner, yeoman, 1656

John Sumner had acquired the 60 acre freehold previously owned by John Canner (Cannar). His will was proved during the Interregnum in London. He was a wealthy man who left his land to his eldest son, John, and bequests of £60 to each of his eight younger sons and daughters.
