Out buildings, Cross Street

The first original stable built c1840 with loft above has a large wooden lintel although the original stable doors have long been replaced. One original loft door has survived. Most of the brickwork is still of the period. The second stable is partly rebuilt, but most of the original brickwork survives.  It also has a loft above on the adjacent waste land, prior to 1940s were five cottages and a stone house before their demolition.
