Sketch for the 1862 rebuilding of Blue Coat School, Cross Street

Plans for the 1862 rebuild show a three bedroomed master's house on the right and a two bedroomed house on the left for the mistress of the National School.  The boys' dormitory is in the centre of the first floor.  Boys were taught on the ground floor and girls on the upper storey, both had separate entrances and play areas.
