Dunster Castle Stables

These stables were built for the castle in the 17th century but with domestic mullioned windows. Several of the heavy timber partitions and mangers survive. they presumably housed the riding horses kept by teh Luttrell family but in the early 20th century they were home to visiting polo ponies such as some of the 62 brought by the Maharajah of Jodhpur.
