Former shop of William Symons, High Street, Dunster

William Symons draper, grocer and stamp distibutor  was in business by 1830. In 1851 he employed six staff including a draper, druggist and tailor who lived over the shop. By the 1850s he was also an agent for Norwich insurance and Badcocks Bank. Later the business was taken over by Edmund Withycombe.
