Will of Margery Parry, 1655

This is a transcript of the will of Margery Parry dated 20 November 1655 and proved 20 May 1658. Because of the gap in the burial registers from April 1641 until July 1666 we do not know when she died.

She described herself as being 'aged but of good and perfect mind and memory' and mentions her brothers Valentine and Stephen Parry, which suggest that she was not married. As with the wills of many elderly single women, this contains a welath of detail on family members, all remembered in her bequests.
