Will of Richard Underwood, yeoman, 1647

This is a transcript of the will of Richard Underwood, yeoman, dated 26 August 1647. It was proved on 9 May 1649. Because of teh gap in the parish registers from April 1641 until July 166 it is not certain when he died.

He would appear to have been an elderly man and his wife Anne had been buried on 22 October 1634. As in many such cases his will is very informative about family relations, mentioning manyof his sisters, their children and other kinfolk.
