Will of John Ford, 1609

This is a transcript of the will of John Ford, dated 31 July 1609.

It was proved at the Prerogative Court of Cantrebury, perhaps because he held property at Redmarley, Worcestershire, as well as in Eastnor. He certainly asked for his body to be buried at Redmarley 'until Christ my redeemer calls for it to a joyful resurrection'. He also left 13s 4d to the poor or Redmarley and only 6s 8d to the poor of Eastnor.
