Castle Cary shops and services 1906

In the 40 years since 1866 many more businesses had opened in Castle Cary including several companies and family firms. The popularity of cycling provided work for two cycle dealers and fresh fish was now available in inland towns. Perhaps it was inevitable that a family surnamed Barber would take up hairdressing!
