High Street, Castle Cary

High Street has a delightful array of 18th and 19th-century buildings. In this view on the left are a pair of early 19th-century buildings the first with a fine later 19th-century shop window. The handsome 18th-century house, which closes the view, has two shop fronts inserted. That on the left dates from the early 20th century and that on the right from the late 19th century with ashlared stone windows in Gothic style.
