Barrington Court stair and chandelier

The main staircase is a modern creation in a space which would have been rooms in the original house. It is said to be from Scotland, although mostly a replica of an original design. The chandelier was made for the Lyles by Singers of Frome who also made the many garden gates.

Above the staircase is a late medieval roof said to be from Hereford it is of an unusual design. The bosses are probably medieval but from another source and have been hollowed to fit the roof to which they have been screwed. The carvings include a green man.
