Stained glass in St Neot's parish church

This detail of an early Tudor stained glass window in St Neot's parish church shows the 'sisters' of St Neot, who were either members of a religious guild or unmarried women (maidens) of the parish. Those who helped raise money for the rebuilding or embellishment of a church or item were in it were often recognised by being portrayed in the stained glass or a painting.
