Cement: Hilton and Anderson, Halling

Hilton, Anderson and Company set up a new lime works at Halling in 1873 and their cement works there called Halling Manor dates from 1878. In 1893 the firm became Hilton, Anderson, Brooks & Co. Ltd. and was incorporated into the A.P.C.M.combine in 1900.
