Dulverton's Hotels and Public Houses

Dulverton has had many hotels and public houses during its history, especially in the 19th and early 20th centuries.

The Lion, formerly the Red Lion, is Dulverton's most important remaining public house and hotel. It was popular with tourists in the late 19th and 20th centuries. The building has been greatly altered down the centuries but consists of two ranges, the rear possibly the oldest, and a courtyard now built over.
