High Street (east), No. 105 (Bull Inn)

Since the early 17th century, one of Burford's most important inns. The striking brick and stone facade was added in the 18th century, no doubt to make The Bull unmistakable to visitors arriving by coach. A house on the site was recorded from 1473, and the existing building retains traces of its medieval origins.
