High Street (east), No. 121

Though the facade is early 18th-century, a timber-framed building of c.1500 lies behind this tall frontage. The shop windows and ground-floor stone walling are late 18th-century. After World War II it became the ‘Gay Adventure’, and in 2006 was a tea shop called the Copper Kettle.
