The Hill (east): No. 151

This is a mid to late 17th-century house with contemporary attic windows in the twin gables. The other stone mullion windows are 20th-century interpretations, and postdate the slumping of the façade which has caused the left-hand attic window to tilt dramatically. Its history is unknown before the 1840s when it seems to have been temporarily sub-divided; later 19th-century occupants included a gloveress, shoemakers, an agricultural labourer, and a milkman.
