High Street, no. 22

22 High Street , Ledbury, is a three-storey timber framed, stuccoed building. It has ornate C19th pierced bargeboards and finial & pendant. It is currently occupied by a travel agency. The timber-framed building has been remodelled, probably in the late C18th or early C19th, by the use of stucco to hide the timber and the application of two pilasters with matching cornice at first floor level beneath the jettied attic storey. These may well hide attached pillars and the shallow consoles that are a feature of the late C16th work in Ledbury.
