Hylton: new images
Thanks to Denny Wilson, councillor for Castletown, for passing these photos to us. Pam Tate of Southwick Local History Society converted the glass negatives to useable images. We have been unable to find the name of the photographer, but he appears in one picture alongside Sergeant George Oakley, who served at South Hylton police station, Camden Street., c. 1890 -1920.
