The Old Manor House,Trewarveneth Street, Newlyn

The Old Manor House in Trewarveneth Street is the best example of a merchant's house of the early 17th century. The economic prosperity and population increase brought to Newlyn by the fishing industry meant that in the 17th century, more houses were built. Much of Newlyn also needed rebuilding after a Spanish raid in 1595.
