Street name plates

One of the last acts of the Paul Urban District Council was to put up street nameplates in Newlyn (though not Mousehole) as a belated response to regular post office appeals. On 5 September 1932 the council ordered 67 blue enamel nameplates from Wildman and Maguyer Ltd. with brass screws at a cost of £8 10s. Some still survive.
