St Germoe's Church, Germoe

Both the church and village of St Germoe, are named after St Germoe, a 5th century Irish saint. This church consists of chancel, south transept and porch which date from the 13th and 14th centuries, and a west tower, north aisle and north transept which were rebuilt in the 15th century. There are older parts of the church: part of the south wall may be 12th century and the fonts may be pre-Norman and 12th century.
