St Anietus's Church, St Neot

This large parish church is a good example of the Gothic Perpendicular style of the 15th century. It is has an impressive battlemented and pinnacled with large Perpendicular stained glass windows. However the west tower was built at an earlier date. There are 15 stained glass windows, which were originally created in the 15th century, although only about half of them are original. They are all four light windows and depict saints (e.g St Neot), angels and figure from the Old Testament They show how colourful Perpendicular churches must have been.
