Carnarvon Arms

The Carnarvon Arms hotel in Brushford was built by the earl of Carnarvon to serve his new market and benefit from the recently completed railway between Taunton and Barnstaple. The hotel adjoined Dulverton station and opened in 1874. It remained in business until 2002 when it was converted into flats.
