St Ivo Church, St Ive

This church was consecrated in 1338, and most of the building dates from the 14th century. It has a good and almost intact example of a chancel in the early 14th century style. It has a five-light east window which is one of the best of its date in Cornwall. The elaborate style of tracery is reminiscent of that found at Exeter Cathedral and there elaborate carved niches either side of the window.
