Mousehole School

The origins of the present school at Mousehole can be traced to the 1840s or early 1850s. The old school was built by the Wesleyan Methodists and looks like a Methodist chapel with its large sash windows. It lies at the north-western edge of the settlement on the opposite side of Paul Hill to the present school buildings. It remained in use as a school until 1911.
